Core Community Physiotherapist, Franklin Locality - Specialist Community Health Service

Full time 1FTE, fixed term maternity leave cover until June 2026

Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 1 $77,087 10 $116,390)

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our friendly team at the Franklin Community Health Service, based at Pukekohe Hospital.

The successful applicant will be working to provide excellent delivery of care to our clinically and culturally diverse population within the community setting.

In this position you'll encounter a wide variety of clinical presentations including orthopaedics, older adults, neurological, musculoskeletal, and respiratory conditions which will help you broaden your knowledge and expertise.

No two days are the same! Our philosophy is to work holistically with patients and whaanau to find innovative, patient-centred solutions.

  • NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practising certificate
  • 2+ years relevant experience post registration
  • Solution focussed with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for working with patients and families to improve health outcomes
  • Sound computer skills
  • Advanced assessment skills
  • Experience in both hospital and community setting
