CarterHolt Harvey – Plywood, is looking for a Control Systems Engineer at our site basedon the Kinleith Estate in Tokoroa.
Reporting directly to the Electrical and ProjectsManager, this role is a Monday to Friday position, 40 hours per week, with additionalsupport required during shut-downs.

Key areas you’ll be focusing on include:
Developing, implementing and overseeing the performance of all electrical, automation and control systems software and hardware within the mill Implementing support systems that minimise potential impacts on business operations through equipment failure or sub-optimal operation Assisting maintenance and operations staff with process trouble shooting and systems training Developing and recommending improvements to site control and information systems to increase operational performance What you’ll bring:
A relevantqualification NZQA Level 7 Engineering, ideally experience as an Electrician Provenindustrial experience with control systems development Familiarwith a wide range of business and process control software and hardware Soundtechnical and analytical skills; you’ll be able to demonstrate your controlsystems design capability Commitmentto demonstrating health and safety, and environmental leadership Skilled atcommunicating complex ideas and issues in simple, clear language Flexiblein your approach, and responsive to new ideas Offer ahigh degree of initiative and self-direction Your determinationand reliability as a team player Woodproducts processing industry knowledge combined with project managementexperience would be an advantage Inreturn, we can offer:
