We have a great opportunity that has arisen for a Contract Manager to join our dedicated Direct Repairs team.

Reporting to the Head of Direct Services, you’ll be an essential member of the team providing a comprehensive, efficient and responsive property service function to all teams.

The primary focus is on delivery of repairs and maintenance on day-to-day, projects service provided across this team.

You’ll lead on delivering an efficient, responsive and quality service to ensure all repairs are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

You’ll provide clear structure and support to Contractors in managing repairs effectively from issue to completion and final quality assurance.

You will also be responsible for the direct delivery of work including but not limited to repairs and maintenance, HHSRS, complaints and any tasks that would enhance the service to our residents.

Your main base will be The Tramsheds, Croydon, with travel required across London.

You’ll have the option to work in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.

Please note, this role is being offered on a 6-Month FTC / Secondment, working 35 hours a week.

What You'll Have

  • A proven track record of successfully managing repairs service at contract management level, where customer satisfaction is at the heart of service delivery – minimum of 2 years’ experience.

  • A thorough working knowledge of all the statutory and regulatory rules and/or codes of practice that underpin the delivery of an efficient and effective property related direct labour service.

  • A thorough understanding and commitment to ensure that all relevant health and safety statutory obligations and methods of good practice are effectively incorporated within all operations and that regularly, health and safety meetings are attended to promote and improve our systems and processes to ensure the safety of our staff, residents, contractors and members of the public.

  • A full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle.
