The Company
Redpath Partners are working exclusively with a major national development group that operates one of New Zealand’s most extensive property networks.
With a strong presence across the country and a focus on growth and innovation, the business is committed to creating leading environments for its customers and communities.
They are now seeking a Junior/Intermediate Commercial Property Manager to join their Auckland based team and lead the ongoing optimisation and expansion of their national portfolio.
The Role
Reporting to the National Portfolio lead, this position will oversee the full lifecycle of property activity, from identifying new site opportunities through to development, leasing, and long-term asset management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic growth, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, and assets continue to perform strongly across financial, operational, and compliance metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver new site developments and refurbishments on time and on budget
- Managing relationships with landlords, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and portfolio performance
- Monitoring budgets, analysing property performance, and identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth
- Supporting leasing, acquisition, and property transfer activities in line with corporate strategy
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and best practice standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 2-5 years experience in either property management (residential or commercial), asset management or development management.
Open to all property related backgrounds for the right candidate with a can-do attitude - Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to monitor budgets and identify strategic opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across internal and external partners
- Related property qualification
- A proactive, solutions focused approach and a passion for continuous improvement
