OverviewConstruction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who's ready to step into a Commercial Manager role and lead the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects valued at $50M and above.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a main contractor with a solid pipeline of work, supportive leadership, and an excellent reputation in the New Zealand market.About the RoleAs Commercial Manager, you'll take the lead on the financial and contractual management of major projects across Auckland.
You'll be responsible for commercial strategy, team leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of project outcomes.Key responsibilitiesFull commercial management of high-value construction projects ($50M+)Leading and mentoring QS and commercial teamsCost planning, reporting, procurement, and variation managementContract administration (NZS**** and similar)Engaging with clients, consultants, and subcontractorsSupporting business development and pre-construction activitiesAbout YouYou're already a high-performing Senior QS with at least 5 years' experience and are looking for a genuine step up.
