Green Light Worldwide have a requirement with our client partner for OpenShift (ARO) Architect to join their team on a 12-month assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor within the customer’s IT team, providing architectural leadership and guidance.
- Influence key stakeholders to adopt Azure OpenShift (ARO) as the migration target platform.
- Support the planning and execution of migrating OpenShift workloads from on-premises bare metal clusters to Azure OpenShift.
- Provide input into long-term technology roadmaps, cloud strategy, and hybrid deployment models.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities during the transformation program.
- Collaborate with external vendor partners (HPE, Infosys, Nokia, Microsoft) to align architecture with broader enterprise outcomes.
- Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Mandatory:
- Must be Auckland-based and available to be onsite 3 days per week.
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenShift (ARO).
- Experience with hybrid cloud deployment models and OpenShift migrations.
- Strong architectural and influencing skills, with the ability to drive technology direction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Ability to operate at both technical and strategic levels.
- Telco industry experience is not required, but experience in large-scale enterprise transformations is highly regarded.
