ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an individual who can build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them achieve the best outcomes for their projects.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Regional Manager and internal teams to guide projects from early consultation and feasibility right through to the start of construction.
You'll also represent our brand in the market, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and long-term partnerships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as an ambassador for the company, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
Develop tailored proposals, strategies, and roadmaps for clients, ensuring clear communication and value at every stage.
Manage design and build processes, including scope development, consultant engagement, and compliance with NZ Building Code and industry guidelines.
Support Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) projects, working closely with internal teams to deliver collaborative, solution-focused outcomes.
Represent the company at industry events and client meetings, strengthening brand presence and fostering long-term partnerships.
Oversee commercial negotiations and reporting, ensuring smooth transition from preconstruction into successful project delivery.
Nurture prospects and leads, guiding projects from early feasibility and due diligence through to design, consent, and construction handover.
Collaborate with the Regional Manager to grow business opportunities and contribute to strategic planning and annual objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in preconstruction, design management, or a related construction industry role.
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects through feasibility, design, and early contractor involvement phases.
Excellent commercial acumen, including experience in proposal development, negotiations, and contract discussions.
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to contribute to wider business objectives.
