Job description

Overview
Taranaki Skips and Bins operate skip trucks serving customers throughout the Taranaki region.
The company prides itself on providing excellent service with staff going above and beyond and ensuring that customers' needs and requirements are always met.
We have a dedicated team that works extremely well together and are looking for another driver/operator to join this target driven team.
The successful candidate will complement and support the skills of the other team members.
This is a permanent part-time/casual role with variable hours depending on demand.
Responsibilities
Operate skip trucks as part of a committed team, contributing to the success of the business and helping to build the customer base.
Assist with maintenance of skip bins and other assets.
Assist the manager in promoting the business to new clients.
Perform duties beyond driving as required to ensure customer satisfaction and safe operations.
Qualifications and attributes
Class 2 Truck Licence (Class 4 Licence would be an added advantage).
Good attitude and a team player.
Commitment to Health and Safety regulations.
Professional and courteous to customers; willing to assist when opportunities arise.
Strong people skills and the ability to deal with customers effectively.
Ability to follow instructions to prioritise customer needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Trustworthy, reliable, and honest in all interactions.

The remuneration and conditions of work would suit the right candidate.
The role offers variety and daily challenges with operations over five days a week, with variable hours depending on demand.
