Gisborne based and working across the Eastern region means you will be involved in work sites extending from the top of Hawke's Bay up to East Cape - introducing you to new and complex challenges.
To support this, a minimum of 4 years' consulting and designing experience in New Zealand is a must.

About the role:
In a post-Cyclone Gabrielle environment, the work will involve traditional civil engineering analysis and design, specialist engineering with support and training plus the oversight and MSQA of projects delivered by you and the LDE team.
A geotechnical understanding would be beneficial but not critical; however, a willingness to learn is an absolute.
About you:
You'll have a level of initiative and confidence that enables you to give professional advice and make the best decisions for our clients.
You'll be comfortable in dealing directly with clients and projects of varying sizes.
If you enjoy working in and contributing to a relaxed and supportive office environment where everyone pitches in, our Gisborne team could be your place.
You will need at least the following or an equivalent qualification:
A Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Civil)
A working knowledge of NZ Standards
Proficient in Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD
4+ years New Zealand experience
