Civil Construction Driver/Operator

Join the civil construction industry in Dunedin for the busy summer season.

We’re looking for skilled Driver/Operators to fill multiple roles across top-tier companies and high-profile sites.

You’ll operate a variety of machinery on key infrastructure projects, with the potential for ongoing work.

Location: Dunedin
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly)
Your role will involve:
  • Operating a variety of civil machinery (e.g. excavators, rollers, dump trucks, graders)
  • Carrying out trenching, bulk earthworks, base prep, and final trim work
  • Performing vehicle checks and reporting mechanical issues to site supervisor
  • Supporting with manual labour and general site work as required
  • Completing basic vehicle upkeep such as cleaning and refuelling
  • We’re looking for people with:
  • Full Class 2, 4, or 5 NZ Driver Licence
  • WTR endorsements
  • Proven experience in the civil construction industry
  • Strong operating skills across a range of heavy machinery
  • Health and Safety awareness
