As Chef de Partie at Forsyth Barr Stadium, you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food in line with Compass Group standards.
You'll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to a memorable dining experience for guests and event attendees.
This is a Permanent Part Time position.
Prepare and cook menu items, ensuring quality and consistency.
Portion and plate food for service, maintaining presentation standards.
Receive, store, and rotate kitchen supplies to ensure freshness and compliance.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas and equipment.
Support menu development and catering control procedures to reduce waste and meet dietary needs.
NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent trade qualification.
Experience cooking in a similar high-volume or event-based environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
Flexible, reliable, and physically fit with a positive attitude.
Police clearance and NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) preferred.
