    As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding food and beverage service at one of our high-end corporate client sites in Wellington.

    You'll assist with food preparation, maintain clean and welcoming areas, and assist our chefs in providing world class food while learning on the job.


    Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


  • Assist with preparing and presenting food, including salads and plated meals.
  • Maintain clean and tidy dining, kitchen, and public areas.
  • Adhere and maintain food control plan records
  • Support off-site food delivery, event setup, and other service team duties as required.
  • FOH service is a bonus and a positive attitude to help where needed is critical

  • Willingness to learn and adapt with the changing food scene.
  • A team player who can also work independently.
  • Experience in a similar catering or hospitality role.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and hard-working with a flexible attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and professional presentation.
  • NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) and police clearance preferred.
