    • What are we looking for:


    Our ESS team are looking for an exceptional Casual Catering Assistant to join our team at the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) in Whenuapai, Auckland.

     Hours on as a as and when required basis, dependent on business needs.


    This is not your average Catering Assistant opportunity - this is a chance to challenge yourself in a unique environment while working with premium service and product.


    You will be responsible for:


  • assisting with food preparation
  • preparing salads, baking & catering preparations
  • providing professional customer service
  • waiting/clearing tables
  • receiving deliveries and unloading
  • dishwashing and pot washing
  • assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties

    • Skills and experience:


    If you're our ideal candidate, you will be an energetic person with a great customer service and team player focus.

    You will be a multitasker, organised, hardworking, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.

    You will also have a full NZ Drivers License.


    Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
