Are you after a Monday – Friday job with weekends free to spend with family and friends?




Here at Cater Plus we are on the hunt for a café superstar that has excellent customer service and knows their way around a kitchen.

This is a fixed term role from 6th November 2025 till 11th May 2026.

Working 25 hours - Monday to Friday (7.30am – 12:30pm), you will be based at AMP Café at the Auckland Meat Processing site in Otahuhu.

Enjoy working close to public transport with the added bonus of having access to free car parking if you drive on a daily basis.

No working weekends or public holidays.




In this role you will assist the Chef Manager to prepare a variety of café style food.

There will be daily sandwiches to be made along with other goodies our customers love.

The willingness to keep the kitchen and café clean and hazard free is necessary for this role, and you will need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in in all aspects of the kitchen.



To be successful we are looking for an honest and responsible person who can:

- serve café style food to customers,

- operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile,

- assist with food preparation and cleaning,

- understand a basic level of computer literacy,

- work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,

- utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude,

- enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more



You will need to be resilient and comfortable working within the unique environment of a meat processing plant which can come with a distinct smell.

This does, however, offer the benefit of having access to a discounted meat shop on site.
