In this frontline role, your main responsibilities will include, assisting to deliver a fun and enjoyable holiday programme for children between the ages of 5-13 years, coaching sporting activities to young children, delivering exceptional service to our customers and visitors supporting the delivery of a variety of exciting programmes for children, helping the Centre maintain a caring, fun and safe fitness and leisure environment, providing assistance to Centre management with administration and operational duties; and supporting with Centre activities including sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmes.
You are also required to help to cover for other functions at the centre as required.
Pool lifeguards are observant, patient, and good with people.
Your skill set means you have the confidence to act in a quick, responsible, and calm way.

You’ll already be passionate about sports and recreation, and ready to step into a frontline customer service role.
It goes without saying that you’ll be responsible when it comes to working with children.
You’ll have a flexible approach and be able to use your initiative to facilitate suitable programmes for kids.
An enthusiastic team player, you’ll have a positive attitude and infectious energy, and be committed to providing your customers with an exceptional experience.
While previous experience working with children is beneficial, it’s not essential.
Importantly, you’ll be committed to maintaining a high degree of professionalism in your work.
Ideally, you will be a good swimmer as well, we would love to train you to be a lifeguard, so you can cover other roles at Stanmore Bay Leisure Centre.

Pay Rate: starting $23.65 per hour
