The Warehouse Dargaville is seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Admin and Service Desk Team Member to join our dynamic team.

In this multifaceted role, you'll be the face of our organisation, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges at the service desk
  • Complete daily banking and other cash office tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and service desk
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and report generation
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

Work Hours

  • Admin/Cashier: Friday and Saturday 7:30am - 10:30am
  • Service Desk: Sunday and Monday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer service or retail, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent cash handling skills and basic math proficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and Point of Sale (POS) software
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 10 kg
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
