    About the Role

    Right now, we’re looking for a Registered Health Care Professional.

    (RN
    OT, Social Worker) with Mental Health experience to join the Community Mental
    Health Team ( CMHT).

    CMHT, provides services through a multi-disciplinary team
    approach, specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment for adults, who have
    a moderate to severe psychiatric disorder.

    The primary generic function of the “case manager” is to work alongside
    people to assist them in achieving their goals based on individual needs.

    A
    sound understanding of psychiatric disorders and medications.

    Providing
    community support, interpersonal, social, recreational, vocational, and
    independent living status and activities of people served.

    About you

    The person in this role will need to be familiar with the many and
    varied needs of clients dealing with Mental Health related issues and be
    passionate about helping clients navigate a course towards recovery.

    They will utilise their existing strengths,
    family &/or community supports, all while being guided by their own
    cultural needs, goals and aspirations.

    Additionally;

  • Registered
    with a current APC to practice in NZ with relevant scope of practice
  • Relevant
    mental health experience
  • Experience
    in delivering evidence-based practice
  • Commitment
    to working within the strengths-based recovery approach to case management
  • Enjoy
    working in a team environment
  • A current
    full driver’s license is also essential.
