Carpenter Job Opening In Hastings – Now Hiring Tradestaff

Carpenter
We’re on the lookout for qualified carpenters to join our team and work across a range of commercial and some residential projects throughout the Hawkes Bay region.

If you're physically fit, adaptable, and ready to put your skills to use on varied worksites, we want to hear from you.
Location: Hawkes Bay
Pay rate: $28–35 (depending on experience) 
Your day-to-day could include:
  • General carpentry and building work on commercial and residential sites
  • Formwork, boxing/shuttering, and foundation preparation
  • Installing plasterboard/drywall, flooring, and roofing
  • Structural repairs and internal/external finishing
  • Working at heights using scaffolds, ladders, or EWP
  • Safe operation of carpentry tools and working around heavy machinery
  • Following strong health & safety practices on every site
  • To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • A Site Safe card - EWP or Working at Heights ticket (preferred – priority given to EWP holders)
  • Own reliable transport
  • Proven experience in carpentry or a trade qualification
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to work across varied locations
