Qualified LBP Carpenter / Site Manager Wanted – $35/hr  | Pay Rate: $35.00/hr

Job Type: Fixed term that could lead to full time
We’re on the hunt for a Qualified LBP Carpenter who’s not only skilled on the tools but also ready to lead from the front.

If you’re highly motivated, detail-focused, and thrive in a hands-on leadership role—you’re the person we want to hear from.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP)
  • Proven experience in residential/light commercial carpentry
  • Confident site manager with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
  • Able to manage schedules, stay within budget, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  •  You Must Have:
  • Your own tools and reliable transport
  • Full New Zealand driver’s licence
  • New Zealand residency or valid work rights
  • A positive, can-do attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Ability to work well with and motivate a great team of guys
  •  What You'll Be Doing:
  • Running jobs on-site from start to finish
  • Managing and coordinating trades and labour
  • Reading and interpreting plans
  • Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are met
  • Working alongside the team day-to-day on the tools
