Job description

About The Role

  • Work with a small group of students and on an individual basis throughout the day.

  • Support students with their independent learning across a range of subjects.

  • Assist in keeping students engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning goals.

  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure the best support strategies are in place.

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring and patient approach with a passion for helping students succeed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Empathetic and patient approach to their support.

  • Ability to work independently while following structured learning plans.

  • Previous experience working with students with ADHD and students who have behaviour and learning challenges, specifically secondary level (Year 7-13) is desired but not essential.

26 hours per week, starting at 8:30 am (Monday – Thursday)

Fixed Term Contract until 11th December 2026, with possibility to be renewed.

Location

OneSchool Global NZ, Nelson Campus.
