About the Role
We are looking for an experienced barista with outstanding customer service skills.
In this position, your main area of work will be in Front of House preparing and serving meals and coffees to patients and customers.
You will collaborate closely with our kitchen team to assist in simple food preparation, clean dishes using an industrial dishwasher, arrange plates, and ensure a clean, organised, and hygienic around work environment.
This position is a casual position, with Front of House operations running mainly Monday to Friday.
Kindly note that this role does not involve cooking.
About the Team/Service Location
We are a group of 46 individuals with diverse backgrounds based in Lower Hutt Hospital, united by our commitment to delivering high-quality and delicious meals to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Despite our busy workday, we find joy in sharing laughter amongst ourselves.
Our team serves up to 500 coffees per day to our customers, therefore we strongly promote a collaborative team atmosphere to ensure success.
About you
We are looking for someone with great customer service and communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude, who is used to working in a busy team environment.
You will be able to multitask efficiently, demonstrating a strong sense of punctuality and respect for schedules.
