dynamic transmission team and help deliver critical projects that keep the
lights on across the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and beyond.

The Role:
As a Cadet Project Manager,
you’ll join our Operations team and work alongside experienced managers to
learn the full project lifecycle of electricity transmission line build and
upgrade projects.

Reporting to the Delivery Manager – Projects, you’ll be
trained to manage projects from scoping through to delivery and completion,
ensuring they’re completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Once trained, you will:
-Manage projects end-to-end – from pricing and scoping through to delivery and close-out

-Oversee financial performance, including invoicing and reporting

-Work with a wide range of stakeholders – from customers to contractors and field crews

-Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction on every project

-Support design, estimating, and planning when needed

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with an
interest in construction and infrastructure, ideally a recently qualified
Quantity Surveyor or Engineer who’s looking to step into project management.

You’ll bring:
-A full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence

-Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal

-Problem-solving ability and financial acumen

-Confidence working with different people and cultures

-A high level of integrity, safety awareness, and motivation to learn

-Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is an advantage
