By being brand-led and retail-focused, we are intentional about placing the right people in the right roles, allowing us to perform work that truly makes a difference.Job DescriptionWe are currently on the look for a Buyer – Computing & Accessories for the Warehouse and the Warehouse Stationery.As our Buyer, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and curating a market-leading product range, as well as delivering the very best technology solutions to our customers.This role is critical to our success, and your responsibilities are both complex and exciting!
You'll play an integral part in a key strategic change designed to better serve our customers, bringing fresh ideas and strong execution to deliver transformation across this category.
You'll also bring your team on the journey, helping them clearly understand what's required and empowering them to play their part in the process.Your key responsibilities will include:Developing and executing buying strategies that deliver on sales targets and anticipate customer and market trends.Analysing sales data, identifying opportunities, and translating insights into actionable plans.Reporting findings to stakeholders, influencing business strategies with your commercial insights.Partnering across functions – from marketing to supply chain – to build compelling and cohesive ranges that meet customer demand.Working closely with suppliers and sourcing partners to negotiate the best outcomes and build long-term partnerships.QualificationsHighly commercial, insightful, and decisive in your thinking, you are passionate about buying and category management, with a natural curiosity for how we can do better to deliver for our customers.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, unlocking collaboration and enabling you to deliver with speed and agility.
