This is a full-time role focused on driving business growth through the acquisition of new clients while nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing customer base.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across a diverse range of industries within your territory.

Experience in similar solution-based sales environments with long sales cycles will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow our Commercial Painting business across the Hawkes Bay region.
  • Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Utilize your sound sales history, particularly in trades and services, to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to potential customers.

About you

To succeed in this role, you’ll need more than just a great sales history.

  • Experience growing revenue from both new and existing clients
  • Strong relationship management and account development skills
  • A genuine drive to hunt for new business - cold calling, networking, and prospecting come naturally to you
