CSE Crosscom is a leading supplier and integrator of two-way radio and telecommunications products, infrastructure & services.

We work with major industrial, government, transport, mining, resources, and utilities across Australia and New Zealand.

We design, supply, and install telecommunications solutions to help our clients keep their workforce safe and manage their most critical assets.

About the Role

Working within the Auckland sales team, this position is responsible for sourcing new business and new business opportunities, developing strong sustainable sales and sales leads.

The role will work with existing accounts and develop new opportunities across existing and new markets.

The role will work within an allocated vertical market, though will have primary responsibility to further develop other key markets.

Business Development Managers must be proactive, highly customer focused and be able expand both new and existing customer’s knowledge of our products, services, and solutions.

About You

Driven and motivated to excel, you are a pragmatic, proven Business Development Manager.

You will be a great communicator, with strong, demonstrable influencing skills.

You will have exceptional customer service, and interpersonal skills.

You have a keen interest in technology, and you are, or shortly plan to be, an expert in radio and telecommunications solutions.

What excites you most is forming strong, value-adding relationships with existing customers, and potential customers in new and existing markets.

You have an innate ability to form strong, long-term relationships with people at all levels of our current and future customer organisations, and you are excited by the opportunity to make a real difference to their business by devising and implementing solutions to tackle their problems.

Other skills and experience include

  • Proven success in a technical or complex solutions sales or account management role
  • Existing radio and telecommunication skills and product experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated in the ability to form long term client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and implement technical solutions with management (in a fast-moving industrial environment with swift turnaround times)
  • Proven ability to work alongside technical teams assisting with functional specification requirements
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and customer advocacy skills
  • Ownership and responsibility for the role
  • Driven and motivated to excel
  • Accurate reporting and forecasting of opportunities
