Job Scope

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and expand our market presence
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on event companies, government agencies, and large institutions
  • Act as a consultative partner to clients by deeply understanding their event workflows and recommending appropriate solutions from Occam Lab’s service suite
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet clients' specific event technology needs
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Represent Occam Lab at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Participate in key client events in person to observe and support the deployment of event tech solutions
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and report on sales activities and results

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the event technology or related industries
  • Strong understanding of the event management landscape and technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into value propositions for clients
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience in technology or B2B services
