My client is a leading and highly respected accounting and business advisory firm, currently seeking an experienced and driven BAS Assistant or Manager to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership, oversee accounting operations, and guide the finance team in delivering high-quality services to clients.

  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  3. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled accountants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

  4. Client Engagement: Interact with clients, understand their financial needs, and provide tailored solutions and recommendations.

  5. Tax Compliance: Stay abreast of tax regulations, manage tax planning, and ensure compliance for clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree: An NZ bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
