The Pennine Network is looking for a CMHIT Business Administrator to join our admin team on a full time, permanent basis.
You will have a strong attention to detail and organisational skills to support the smooth and efficient functioning of the service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Mental Health Team, for a CMHIT Business Administrator to join our admin team on a full time, permanent basis.
We are inviting applications from individuals with excellent organisation skills, ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate with staff, service users, visitors and carers in a professional manner.
The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office packages and possess a good telephone manner.
You will have the skills to enable live minute taking to take place as well as general minute taking skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality clinical support service.
The post holder will have knowledge of relevant administrative procedures applicable to this role.
Problem solving is also essential.
The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach.
The post holder will need to be a team player with very strong communication skills.
Receive allocate and despatch internal /external mail in line with the Trust policy.
To be the first point of contact for the unit/department providing a comprehensive customer service and enquiry provision to internal and external customers of the Trust.
Provide a comprehensive administrative service which will include compilation of reports and other correspondence on behalf of the team manager and other members of the team, ensuring a high standard in accordance with Trust standards.
To create and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels, internal and external across the whole health economy.

Job responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the appropriate management teams and other departments including clinicians to ensure that the appropriate leads are notified in the case of matters of urgency and dealt with in a timely manner.
To provide a secretarial function to the Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader.
To arrange supervisions and PDRs on the Managers behalf.
Attend and participate in team meeting and admin services meetings as required.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration - or equivalent experience
Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development.
Awareness of issues in the Mental Health Network
Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice
Knowledge of NHS management processes
Experience
Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment
Skills and Abilities
Takes a pro-active approach to tasks
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels using e-mail, telephone or face to face
Able to demonstrate skills in organising and prioritising of diaries and schedules
Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues with tact
