Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Chartered Building Surveyor to lead and expand our national service line.

Key Responsibilities

As our national Building Surveyor Lead, you’ll work closely with our Executive team to:

  • Establish and grow a high-performing Building Surveying team across New Zealand.
  • Drive strategic growth through business development and operational excellence.
  • Drive innovation as a core enabler of future services offerings
  • Deliver expert surveying services including technical due diligence, defect analysis, compliance advice, and dilapidation reporting.
  • Champion Colliers’ values, culture, and reputation through strong leadership and relationship management.

Qualifications

  • MRICS (preferred) or NZIBS Qualification (3-5 years post qualification experience preferred)
  • Experience in commercial construction or a related industry.
  • A growth mindset and the ambition to lead and develop a national team.
  • Strong understanding of property legislation, compliance, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in industry software applications and a passion for new technology
  • A collaborative, enterprising mindset with a passion for delivering results.
