About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Automation Consultant to build workflow solutions for SMB clients.
This is a remote contractor position (10-20 hours/week initially) at $60-75/hour depending on skills and experience.
While MinorCo is based in New Zealand, we have consultants across the globe!
You'll work independently on 2-5 active client projects, building automations with Zapier and APIs while communicating directly with clients.
We value critical thinking and your input on solutions, not just executing instructions.
What You'll Do
- Build Zapier-based automations and API integrations for diverse clients
- Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide updates
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical guidance
- Follow our SOPs and style guides to maintain quality standards
- Manage your own workload across multiple concurrent projects
Required Skills
- 2+ years hands-on experience building business automations with Zapier
- Strong API integration skills (REST APIs, webhooks, authentication)
- Excellent written and verbal client communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with Make.com or n8n
- Familiarity with Pipedrive and/or Asana
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows
- A passion for efficiency and technology
