We deliver incisive, high-impact journalism from the capital and beyond, and we are expanding our footprint in Auckland to bring our growing national audience more exclusive stories from New Zealand's biggest city.
This is a senior editorial role with responsibility for producing exclusive, agenda-setting content with strong national appeal, while driving growth in digital reach and audience engagement in Auckland.
You will lead a talented team of journalists, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
With the ability to move seamlessly between breaking news, investigative reporting, and in-depth features, you will set the highest standards of journalism—informing, engaging, and inspiring audiences.
The Auckland Editor will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our editorial strategy for the region, ensuring our content connects with local communities and resonates nationally.
