We are on thehunt for anAssistant Store Manager who can bring a wealth of retail knowledge, expert guidance and an encouraging attitude to help lead and support our Kilbirnie Store.

What will you do in this role?

  • Be responsible for leading our experienced Department Managers and our sales team.

  • Identify areas and opportunities for improvement
  • Drive a culture of world-class customer service through your management team and take the business forward through expert leadership.

  • Play a key role in setting the direction required to enable great performance
  • Develop and encourage commercial focus in your Department Managers.

This role is all about motivating and inspiring your managers and team to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Passion and knowledge of fashion, homewares and lifestyle categories are a must.

You'll have an expert eye for detail, know what is trending in retail and how to provide an outstanding customer experience through visual merchandising and leading from the front.

What we are looking for?

  • Previous experience managing large teams, or in multi-site/cluster management
  • A proven history of driving sales and delivering results through coaching and inspiring your sales teams
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally, including the ability to deliver sales training programmes
  • Experience with change management is an advantage
  • Great organisational and planning skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines
