                         Assistant Manager - IT Operations (Cluster Office) 
We are seeking for a highly driven candidate to be part of Cluster Office supporting an Institution.
This role reports to the Institution Lead and is required to work closely with Institution senior stakeholders, and Institution Users, Synapxe CIO Office, Synapxe Program & Support Teams, Optech Team, IT service suppliers, and external collaborators/partners.
This role will be based on-site at Novena.
Role & Responsibilities 
Assist Institution Lead to oversee and ensure the smooth running of daily IT operations in NNI (including Infra, Network, EUC and Security) 
Assist Institution Lead on advisory to Institution stakeholders on IT matters 
Assist Institution users on escalation matters 
Evaluate potential solutions for institution users and make recommendations to resolve business problems 
Work closely with users and delivery teams to resolve IT issues to ensure timely resolution/implementation 
Support Institution users on resolution of Infra and applications-related issues and requirements, IT audits, IT security/data governance and compliance requirements 
Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders/partners to implement and manage compliance to security best practices to ensure secure and reliable IT applications and systems 
Work closely with Synapxe PMs and IT service suppliers on project implementations (project governance, procurement governance, review approval papers, chase for project approvals and project charter signatories) 
Assist Institution Lead to support Institution users’ IT innovation initiatives 
Assist Institution Lead to oversee small scale IT project implementations in Institution 
Assist Institution Lead in yearly budgeting and workplanning for IT CAPEX and OPEX 
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships among users, vendors, project teams and SingHealth management 
Perform secretariat duties for selected boards and committees 
Present reports and project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis 
Oversee contract and maintenance renewal of vendors 
Undertake any other requests as assigned by Reporting Officer.
Requirements 
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline 
At least 6 years of relevant working experience 
Strong Service oriented traits towards Institution stakeholders 
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders 
Possess strong analytical skills and keen ability to manage difficult situations 
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills 
Highly driven and proactive mindset 
Team player and self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision 
Basic infrastructure knowledge (servers, network and end-user computing devices) 
Experience in the healthcare industry is an added advantage
