  • Full time role + based in Manukau + Monday-Friday

  • $250 for your Health & Wellbeing

    This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00pm, based in Manukau working across South Auckland.


    You'll be working within the Housing First service—a wrap-around, community-based housing initiative focused on transition, recovery, and wellness.

    This service empowers kirtaki and their whānau to build the capacity to live well, with a strong emphasis on holistic support.



    In this role, you'll support individuals with high and complex needs, co-existing problems, many of whom face intergenerational challenges, addiction, and trauma.

    Your work will be grounded in the Housing First philosophy, helping people find and sustain stable housing in the community.

    This role will help guide clinical practice within the team(s); you will need to be confident supporting non-clinical and clinical staff and provide oversight into high quality risk management and documentation.



    This is a chance to grow your skills and knowledge in the areas of housing and homelessness, while being part of an innovative and expanding service where fresh ideas are welcomed and creative solutions are the norm.

    We’d love to hear from registered health professionals with a range of experience in the mental health, AOD, and social sectors, particularly (but not necessarily) with experience in housing and residential recovery services.

    Ideally you will have: 


  • Be registered with Dapaanz, with a current annual practicing certificate
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, you’ll quickly build credibility while showcasing your sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Full registration with a current practicing certificate.

  • Experience in assessment and Risk management, within a community setting.

  • Developing collaborative recovery plans.

  • Experience in harm reduction/Harm minimisation intervention and other specialised interventions.

  • Experience working with Co-existing problems
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.

    You will be complemented by excellent attention to detail and proficiency in record keeping.

  • Excellent knowledge of the area’s AOD, social and community sectors.

  • Knowledge of and demonstrate utmost commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Māori.
