## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleAnalyst, DataStrategy, Policy and Integrity, Data TeamWellington, PermanentAnalyst Salary Range: 80,495 – 106,758### About the roleWe are seeking a data analyst who wants to go on a journey to support our Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, supporting our data engineer to build and maintain our data infrastructure and the flow of data through our systems to our business intelligence environment.As a data analyst you will have an understanding of management, analysis and visualisation of data and be prepared to support the team to deliver its products.
As a developing data engineer you will have some skills and the ability to learn how to maintain our data pipelines.### About youWe are looking for an experienced data analyst who is looking to build their developer skills to help maintain our data infrastructure:* Experience in data analysis, data management, and visualisation* Ability to provide high quality data analysis and advice* Understanding of data pipeline concepts and ETL processes, ideally with some exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).* Experience, or an aptitude to learn: + BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI + SQL and data querying tools.
