We are a unit with a significant system role, working across government to take collective action against family violence and sexual violence.
We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura.
We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.
As an Advisor, you will support evaluation, and continuous improvement to ensure learning initiatives are violence- and trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with The Centre's workforce capability frameworks.
This role is grounded in the five principles that underpin the Family Violence Entry to Expert Capability Framework (E2E) and the Specialist Family Violence Organisational Standards (SOS).
You will help operationalise these principles by ensuring learning initiatives prioritise equity, accountability, collaboration, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $73,634 and 100,846 based on skills and experience.
