    About our team | Mō te tīma:

    The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group is responsible for commissioning, funding, and stewarding high-quality services that support disabled people, their families, and whānau.

    We’re building leadership and management capacity across our teams to deliver both change and business-as-usual effectively.

    We work closely with providers, stakeholders, and communities to ensure services are fair, consistent, transparent and sustainable.

    With a strong focus on performance monitoring, data, and insights, we’re committed to continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.

    About the role | Mō te tūnga:

    We’re looking for a proactive and organised Team Administrators to join our Disability Support Services.

    These roles provide high-quality administrative support across core business and projects.

    These are permanent and fixed term opportunities and are based in Wellington.

    Vacancies we are currently recruiting for are:

  • Administrator Business Support

  • Administrator DSS Taskforce fixed term June 6

  • Administrator DSS Advisory

  • Team Administrator Commercial Outcomes
  • Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering efficient and timely administrative support of core business functions across the team

  • Assisting with invoice processing, and project coordination

  • Organising meetings, workshops, and events—including accessibility arrangements

  • Supporting team members with calendar management and accessibility needs

  • Providing facilities support and stakeholder engagement

  • Embedding a culture of genuine accessibility across all team activities

    What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

  • Previous experience providing high level administrative support.

  • Strong knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of applications.

  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Adaptability and the ability to effectively prioritise and schedule your work to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and proven experience building effective relationships both within the Ministry and with outside agencies.
