## About this role* Administration Support Officer Health – Invercargill Prison* Permanent, full time position**Mō te tūnga | About the role**Health Services Invercargill Prison are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of office administration activities.

The prime responsibilities of this role are, to ensure accurate medical information is recorded and maintained, while supporting the team with day-to-day administration duties, including reception, internal and external schedules and appointments, travel bookings and database management.This is a rewarding and challenging position within an environment that will stretch your skills and offer you ongoing support.**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**Our ideal candidate will have:* A sound working knowledge of computerised systems and keyboard skills* Experience using Medtec and Microsoft Officer products such as Word and Excel* Knowledge or understanding of working with SAP* An ability to develop and improve efficiencies* High level customer service skills* Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written* Experience as a Healthcare Assistant would be greatly beneficial* Familiarity with health systems and medical terminology would be advantageousIf you are a team player with the ability to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining patient confidentiality, this will be the key to outstanding delivery.Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa.**Utu ā-tau | Salary**The salary steps for this position are $64,717 & $68,434.
