OverviewAccounts Payable OfficerJoin New Zealand's Leading Security Services Provider in a Vital Finance RoleWe're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our Auckland based team.
This role sits at the heart of our financial operations, managing the end-to-end accounts payable process for FIRST Security nationwide.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping systems running efficiently, this is an opportunity to make your mark.ResponsibilitiesManaging AP and accounts inboxes for invoices and statementsProcessing invoices through Readsoft and ExFlow systemsPerforming regular domestic and international payment runsReconciling vendor accounts and resolving discrepanciesPreparing uploads for staff expenses, credit cards, and travelcardsSetting up new vendors and maintaining documentation for audit complianceEnsuring timely and accurate month-end reporting for trade creditorsSupporting the banking and receivables team when neededLiaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice queriesWhat You'll Bring (Qualifications)At least 2 years' experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environmentIntermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyFamiliarity with accounting and invoice processing systems (ExFlow/Readsoft desirable)Strong time management and prioritisation skillsA collaborative mindset and strong communication skillsConfidence in liaising with vendors and internal stakeholdersPreferredCertificate-level qualification in accounting, finance or office administrationExperience working in a multi-site, service-based business environmentWhy FIRST Security?
