Job description

  • Permanent full-time position!
  • Based in the heart of Wellington CBD
  • Competitive salary of $70,000 per annum

    As an Accounts Officer - Receivable with Accessible Properties, you'll manage tenancy-related financial transactions including receipting, invoicing, reconciliations, bond administration, and tenant account management.

    You'll also work with Tenancy Managers and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to process Income-Related Rent Subsidies, on-charged water rates, and ensure accurate tenant records.

    This varied role allows you to support tenants, maintain compliance, and contribute to our mission of providing safe, warm homes.


    We're looking for someone with 2-3 years' accounts experience, strong reconciliation skills, and solid Excel ability.

    Attention to detail, time management, and clear communication are essential, along with resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

    Housing experience or an accounting qualification would be an advantage.
