Overview
The Accounts and Administrator Manager will be working alongside a small team in a family owned and operated Property Management business.
The Accounts and Administrator Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial tasks, including processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts and completing payroll.
A strong focus on detail and accuracy is crucial for handling financial data.
The ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively is essential.
Good communication skills are needed.
The ability to identify and resolve issues, such as processing errors or payment disputes, is important.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable: Managing invoices from suppliers, verifying their accuracy, processing them for payment, and ensuring payments are made on time.
Accounts Receivable: Issuing invoices to customers, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment.
Debt Recovery: Contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating repayment plans, and resolving payment issues to collect outstanding debts.
Account Reconciliation: Performing daily bank reconciliations, accuracy a must.
Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Bookkeeping: Completing various bookkeeping tasks as required, such as entering data, processing transactions, and coding transactions correctly.
Administration: Handling and resolving queries from suppliers, tenants and other vendors regarding payments and account terms.
Reporting: Assisting with month-end processes, preparing reports, and ensuring all financial data is updated accurately.
Payroll: Processing payroll, ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications / Requirements
Experience with accounting software Xero and Microsoft Office is required.
Knownledge of Released is beneficial.
The ability to work independently but as part of a small team is important.
