About the Role


At Egis, we present an outstanding two-year graduate program designed to cultivate a varied set of knowledge and skills.

We are seeking talented, motivated, and innovative Graduates to join our dynamic and high-performing Building Engineering team in Auckland for 2026!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Support: Assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects.

  2. Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to support engineering decisions and project outcomes.

  3. Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our engineering solutions are cutting-edge.

  4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

  5. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and drawings.

  6. Problem Solving: Identify and solve engineering problems to improve processes and product quality.

  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.


What do we need from you


  1. Recent graduate of a tertiary degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
  2. Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in New Zealand
  3. Previous student vacation/internship experience ideally in a consulting environment highly desired
  4. Experience working within a team in retail, hospitality or customer service industries highly desired
  5. Possesses a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
  6. Are innovative thinkers and problem-solvers
  7. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  8. Excellent rapport building skills and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
