Due to a Leave cover, we are seeking a Part Time Design Tech & Vis Com Teacher (0.78 FTE) teaching Junior Y7-Y10.
About you
Experience teaching methods listed
Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents and emerging young adults
Proficient in the use of ICT for communication and record keeping
Interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents, particularly the ability to work as a member of a team
Organisation and administrative skills appropriate for planning and preparation
VIT Certification
Commitment to supporting the College's relational management and restorative practices
Maintain a positive environment which is respectful of all present and fosters student learning and motivation
Able to participate in the College's professional development activities in and out of school hours
Open to participate in the College's extra-curricular and co-curricular programs as required
Experience with Mandatory Reporting and knowledge of Child Safety expectations and standards
